Most of us spend our lives avoiding conversations about death until we have no choice but to face them. That's understandable because we want to focus on living, not dying.
I'm Linda, and I learned the hard way about the importance of talking about death. When someone I loved was dying, my family and I didn't know what to expect. We worried about making the wrong decisions or overlooking something important. Every moment seemed like a crisis.
That's why I became an end-of-life and death doula.
My experiences with clients after completing my training with the International End-Of-Life Doula Association have shown me that no two deaths are the same. Every person, every family, and every journey is unique and deserves unique attention and care.
Preparing for the end of life isn't about controlling every outcome. It's about reducing fear, creating clarity where we can, and knowing that when the unexpected happens—as it often does—you have someone by your side to help you navigate it.
Every death brings its own questions and unexpected moments, and I don't pretend to have all the answers. What I can promise is that, whether you're planning ahead, living with a serious illness, or supporting someone you love, together, we'll make a plan, adapt when things change, and find our way forward one step at a time.

I'm a cat lady
but I love dogs, too. In fact, I love all animals, even spiders and bats and creatures people generally hate. What I hate? Seeing animals killed on the road. Whenever I see an animal hit by a car, I tell it I'm sorry it died so tragically. Does that make me weird? Maybe. But it's who I am.
